LEVEL CROSSING REMOVAL PROJECT
16 May 2019
Benzini Australia has been specialising in precast concrete seating for over 10 years and is now leaving its mark on Melbourne through the Victorian Level Crossing Removal Project.
The Level Crossing Removal Project is a major program of works tasked with removing 75 level crossings by 2025.
Benzini Australia is taking part in three key projects in the Level Crossing Removal: Clayton Station, Hughesdale Station and Noble Park Station.
Working tirelessly with Landscape Plus, Benzini's precast concrete seats have been constructed and installed for these stations to a high-quality standard. The team have been hard at work on these projects since July 2018, with manufacturing still in the works.
Benzini delivered 200 seats for Clayton Station in December 2018, developed the art top seat for Hughesdale Station, and has currently been manufacturing seats for Noble Park Station since February 2019.
“We like to provide high-quality urban furniture while respecting the needs of our clients,” said Jacques Meunier, foreman at Benzini Australia.
Because of the highly competitive prices and quality of their products, Benzini is able to impose itself on the national level in the manufacture of precast concrete seats, and the evolution of the company as a family business has been clearly identified by the opportunities to participate in a community construction initiative.
Knowledge and skill, longevity and family values. This is Benzini Australia.
