MAHASAMUTR LAGOON WATERPROOFING

Maxsealflex in Lagoon White, a hardy waterproofing sealant, was recently used to transform and waterproof Asia’s largest man-made lagoon, ensuring maximum performance alongside premium quality colouring.
Proving that no surface is too large to seal, Dirzoro’s Maxsealflex was used to seal and brighten the surface of Asia’s largest man-made, salt-water lagoon Mahasamutr in Thailand. The lagoon is Asia’s first and largest recreational man-made lagoon, covering a space of 6.3-hectares the lagoon is used for a range of water sports, activities and entertainment.
Drizoro construction products have long been used for a wide range of applications to solve many waterproofing problems on masonry surfaces. The issue facing the developer of the Mahasamutr Lagoon was how to make a man-made depression not only hold water but, also to be functional as well as look appealing.
Maxsealflex-Lagoon is a specially formulated two-part cementitious coating with special anti-microbal additives to prevent mould growth.
Maxsealflex is supplied as a cement powder that is mixed with a Latex Liquid component – using a drill and mixer. This thick and creamy mixture is then applied by brush to a pre-dampened surface.
Two coats are applied leaving overnight between coats. The result was a waterproof, crystal clear finish that complements the exotic location without compromising on durability in the salt water.
With a 10-year warranty, Maxsealflex provides long term solutions to your waterproofing problems, be they residential or commercial projects.
