NETBALL COURT CREATES A STATEMENT

A netball court has received a brand-new look with the help of Plexipave, the original sports surface brand of choice since 1953.

The out-dated court consisted of old asphalt that was rough and the cause of many injuries, with a lighting system that offered little illuminance. Along with its dull appearance, the courts also had to be completely reconstructed in order to be fully compliant with the strict specifications of Netball Victoria. These works were to include raising the courts, constructing new concrete sleeper retaining walls and associated landscaping, competition level LED lighting, large and protective coaches, scorers and player boxes. The most important part of the revamp was to achieve an international standard playing surface.

This playing surface was achieved by constructing a heavy-duty concrete pavement which was then surfaced in the Plexipave Netball Surfacing system, with vibrant True-Blue playing areas and Pacific Blue surrounds.

The natural choice to create a world-class surface, Plexipave provides predictable grip and traction, a long-lasting textured uniform surface and a vibrant colour range which is resistant to fading and deterioration from UV light. Easy and economical to maintain, Plexipave can be cleaned with water and mild detergents and is renewable without the cost of having to completely remove the old surface.
