Take your landscape designs to a whole new level with LANDWorksCAD® v7 and enter the three-dimensional world of design – the next step before virtual reality!
Whether you design with a pencil and paper or a computer, you’ll love what’s coming!
Australian software company CAD International has been showing the world how to design landscapes in the technology age with greater ease, speed and pleasure with world-leading landscape design software LANDWorksCAD®. Now it’s time to take it to the next level!
CAD International are embarking on a new venture, taking landscapers into the fully immersive virtual reality (VR) world to experience real-time landscape design in full 3D. Imagine you and your clients taking a walk in their fully-designed garden or park without leaving the room. Reach out and pick up a tree to reposition it without breaking your back. Move a garden bed without getting your hands dirty. Raise your hands and watch the ground move beneath you, or turn an imaginary sundial to witness the sunrise and sunset. The possibilities are endless.
Sound like a fantasy? Today yes, but next year...
Even now, with programs like Lumion3D® landscapers and architects can explore and model landscapes in realistic 3D. It’s not VR just yet, but stay tuned!
In the meantime, the newly released LANDWorksCAD® v7 is bridging the gap between designing three-dimensional outdoor spaces, using products like SketchUp®, and the very real need to produce high-quality 2D drawings. Users of v7 can interact with images and 3D models, as well as design in 2D. V7 is strides ahead. It’s faster, more intuitive to learn, and is much easier to make changes with. LANDWorksCAD® v7 is available for both Mac and Windows applications.
Highly regarded by the country’s leading landscape educators, LANDWorksCAD® v7 ensures students are prepared for the design world now and into the future. A new online course makes learning a simple step-by-step process, with every student supported personally by CAD’s inhouse staff. Online learning is accessed through TAFE or directly through CAD International.
