SAM THE PAVING MAN GOES FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH

Sam The Paving Man and their Samstone Range of pavers are making their mark in the commercial sector, most recently at Sydney University.
Sam The Paving Man and their Samstone Range of natural granite pavers are not only becoming a feature within Sydney homes, they are now going from strength to strength in the commercial sector, more recently – Sydney University Campuses.
Natural stone is a distinctive feature of the Podium and landscaped areas surrounding the University of Sydney.
Different shades of granite supplied and installed by Sam The Paving Man provide visual impact and define specific structural elements.
Director Sam Harb advises the Samstone range of products used on the Podium, walkways and balconies is Samstone Sesame Grey Granite with an exfoliated finish.
To create a striking feature, the x section displayed (in image 3) uses Samstone Jarrah granite cobbles in a mix of three finishes - exfoliated, natural and bush hammered, with each finish giving a different colour and surface texture, and making the finished works a unique and decorative design.
Another eye pleasing and functional aspect of the manufacture and installation works performed by Sam The Paving Man can be noted as you take a stroll through Sydney campus and come to rest at one of the unique designs of outdoor stone benches manufactured from granite with a honed finish. This feature set against the back drop of landscaped formations truly transcends time, bringing together architecture of the original structures and yesteryear. Let us also not forget the large and impressive water feature created out of Samstone Sesame Grey exfoliated Finish.
All forms of creation by Sam The Paving Man are not only unique and functional, they also strive for practicality and quality, therefore integrated services such as drainage systems were also provided for at Sydney University.
Further custom made items for this project include that of Tactile Paving for the visually impaired in both Sesame Grey Granite and Jarrah Granite.
