STREETBOND™ ENHANCES SENSORY PLAYGROUND
12 Apr 2018
Using Streetbond™ coatings to unite separate play elements, the sensory playground at Optus Stadium in Burswood Peninsula in Perth is a vibrant playscape that incorporates grass, sand and softfall surfaces.
The fully-fenced Sensory Playground is a part of the Chevron Parkland that covers 2.6 hectares of rehabilitated parkland and includes six nature play areas alongside the Swan River foreshore. The playground is situated close to the carpark at Optus Stadium and near the Camfield Pub where visitors can sit, order a pizza, and watch the kids play. Included in the space is a flying fox, basketball ring, sand play, slide, trampolines and more.
The Sensory Playground project was coordinated and built by Deep Green Landscaping while MPS Paving Systems Australia supplied the Streetbond coatings for the project. The cooling blue colours and simple pattern adds an eye-catching effect to the playspace.
MPS Paving’s StreetBond™ range can rejuvenate any surface and add life, unique style and colour to the space with its textured coating. With the company’s internationally recognised pavement coating, all you need is your creativity to turn a tired, old and boring paving in your commercial building, business or home into a create stand out feature – allowing you to be as adventurous as you want.
StreetBond™ textured coating is a practical solution to bring softness and colour to otherwise hard-formed surfaces and structures. As it is anti-slip, the paint can be safely applied to many floorings to create colourful and safe surfaces. When commercial set-ups and businesses have high foot traffic, it is important to reduce any slip hazards; StreetBond™ will give you peace of mind by increasing the slip resistance of your flooring surfaces.
