TEL AVIV HIVE TOWER

An innovative high-rise concept combines a range of public and private amenities, including the first induction charging station for public and shared electric driverless vehicles in Tel Aviv.
The Gran Mediterraneo is an innovative concept design for a high-rise mixed used development destined for Tel Aviv, Israel. Bringing together a range of public amenities such as a public automated carpark and an induction charging station for public and shared electric driverless vehicles, the Gran Mediterraneo also includes private residential apartments that offer vertical living.
Individual apartments will stem from a central core, spreading out toward the floor-to-ceiling windows that provide vast views of the city, with each unit offering a fluid arrangement of levels to allow more space to take advantage of these views.
The multistorey concept also includes a hotel, bars and restaurants, as well as spaces for farming and public gardens, swimming pools and Dead Sea spa areas. Space for offices, education facilities and events spaces are incorporated on the lower levels.
Rather than another traditional stacked box of horizontal slabs wrapped in mirrored glass, the Gran Mediterraneo presents a less conventional profile of organically shaped openings that look like a hive construction. Utilising the latest construction and digital technologies, the new building will be constructed of white concrete and filled with Mediterranean and Dead Sea natures.
