TV PERSONALITIES JOIN THE AUSTRALIAN GARDEN SHOW SYDNEY

Joe Snell and Brendan Moar are the latest additions to the line-up of national and international horticultural leaders at the upcoming AGSS.
Channel Seven’s House Rules judge, Joe Snell, and Brendan Moar, from The Lifestyle Channel’s Dry Spell Gardening and the upcoming Coast Australia on The History Channel will bring their unique insights to the Seeds of Wisdom lecture series at the Australian Garden Show Sydney, Centennial Park, September 5-8.
Snell and Moar are the latest additions to an expanding line-up of national and international horticultural leaders including vertical gardens expert, Patrick Blanc, recent Chelsea Flower Show gold-medal winner, Tom Harfleet, and Graham Ross VMM, Better Homes & Gardens TV presenter and broadcaster of the Australian 2GB radio, The Garden Clinic.
Australian Garden Show Sydney curator and award-winning landscape designer, gardener and author, Myles Baldwin, will lead the discussion with Snell and Moar and explore Sydney’s dynamic aesthetic garden appeal: what it is, what makes it unique and how to recreate its style and ambience.
Snell engages in all aspects of interior design and architecture and has received multiple high commendations by the Interior Design Awards for his retail and hospitality projects. Snell’s fellow House Rules judge, Jim Fogarty, is also participating in Seeds of Wisdom, a series of engaging lectures by horticultural and design experts.
“Sydney has a distinctive style afforded by warm climates and year-round sun, it will be fascinating to see the outcome of this discussion with other creatives from different professional fields at an event which celebrates design, creativity and sustainability,” said Snell.
Landscape architect, Brendan Moar, one of Australia’s leading television presenters, enjoys a diverse professional background, his television work extends to Channel 10’s The Renovators, and The Lifestyle Channel’s Home, he has penned two books, Grounded and Green.
