WETPOUR GETS MORE TRAFFICABLE

A1 Rubber, Australia’s number one rubber upcycler, is once again leading the charge with its latest rubber wetpour innovation, CovaRubba
Australia’s number one rubber upcycler, A1 Rubber, has recently announced its new rubber wetpour system, CovaRubba. This innovative new system is an evolution of A1 Rubber’s already popular range of wetpour products. Wetpour is already used extensively in commercial and domestic playgrounds throughout Australia, and A1 Rubber’s Steve Thomas says their new system will add an even wider range of applications.
“CovaRubba has some really exciting features. Here is a product that’s non-slip, seamless and soft; yet firm enough for wheelchairs, outdoor furniture and even golf buggies or scooters! We can see this going in almost anywhere: Schools, parks, golf courses, aged care facilities; the potential for it is amazing.”
CovaRubba uses specially graded rubber granules that form a much denser matrix than traditional wetpour, making it superior to other outdoor and sport surfaces in several ways:
- Its high density makes it highly trafficable.
- It can be laid over almost any solid sub-base, including cracked or uneven surfaces.
- It won’t retain surface water, and its rough texture gives excellent grip underfoot.
- Good elasticity means it is softer to fall on, and less likely to cause injuries.
- It is available in a fantastic range of 18 different colours!
