CIVENEX 2013: WHERE INNOVATIONS DOMINATE

It's just a couple of weeks to CIVENEX 2013, the annual networking and innovation expo that attracts thousands of exhibitors from Australia, New Zealand and China.
This broad based expo, now in its 57th year, caters to local government engineers, maintenance and infrastructure personnel and contractors involved in all aspects of construction and outdoor work.
CIVENEX offers much more than earthmoving equipment. Visitors can speak to company representatives about everything associated with public and private civil works and infrastructure.
“This year, visitors will appreciate the opportunity to see the latest in electronic systems and technologies, materials and processes”, said event manager Frank Sticka. “We have also expanded the equipment demonstration area this year. So there will be at least 72 products on show each day, from the smallest tools to the largest machines. For anyone in the market for new gear, CIVENEX is the place to check it out", Frank said.
Event organisers say there’s always something new at CIVENEX. For example, Dial-Before-You-Dig will showcase a new smart phone application and Lincom Earthmoving Equipment will launch its latest generation crawler excavator from Chinese manufacturer LiuGong Machinery Co, the 922E, which is said to offer lower fuel consumption an automatic power boost mode for increased break-out power and digging force.
Maxilift Australia will also launch its new ML110 series crane, which weighs just 130kg and offers a full hydraulic reach to 3.7 metres.
“There are quite a few technology innovators this year, including Navman Wireless whose telematics solution is designed to help construction businesses manage vehicles, assets and drivers around the clock while complying with OH&S regulations”, added Frank.
CIVENEX 2013 offers FREE visitor entry and will run for two days - Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th of May at the Sydney Dragway, Eastern Creek, in Western Sydney.
