The Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide, is home to one of Australia’s greatest art collections and  welcomes more than half a million visitors annually.

Funded by the state government Department for Public Works and Buildings (DPTI), the security network was upgraded. Lighting, CCTV equipment and a sophisticated security alarm system were the key additions. 

Designers required all utility enclosures to be safe & secure and therefore specified ACO Cablemate^® polymer concrete pits with PowerLok^® lids.  The PowerLok^® universal locking system is the industry's first barless locking lid providing high security, greater work and public safety.
