Charlestown Oval, NSW. This project was completed in 2010 and is notable for its use of different types of rocks to give an interesting effect. Another major feature of this project is the large panels of Corten steel which are part of the entrance for the sign and also is used as a feature wall. This together with the gabion walls and lush greenery has produced a beautiful public space. The gabion walls were built using Permathene's 75mm x 75mm in 4mm Galfan (Al 5 Zn 95), 4mm wire. Connections were with c rings.
