The project was delivered on a live site at one of Melbourne’s most iconic and highly visited playgrounds, located in the heart of the CBD alongside Federation Square and the Yarra River. Working within such a prominent and active public space required careful planning, coordination, and stakeholder management to minimise disruption while maintaining project progress.
As with many redevelopment projects, a number of unknown conditions and complexities emerged throughout delivery. ACE’s team demonstrated flexibility and problem-solving capabilities, successfully balancing the diverse perspectives and requirements of key stakeholders, including the City of Melbourne’s design team and maintenance personnel, while continuing works on site.
Through proactive communication, strong relationship management, and a collaborative approach, ACE fostered positive stakeholder engagement throughout the project.
