The rejuvenation of Shelly Beach Surf Lifesaving Club by Glenn Simpson Landscapes involved transforming the forecourt into an attractive and user-friendly concourse that is accessible to the general public. The project encompassed the creation of open parkland in addition to extensive concrete works, with sandstone as the material of choice to seamlessly blend with the coastal location.

The attention to detail and craftsmanship on this project was second to none, as pointed out on numerous occasions by Glenn Simpson Landscapes’ client, Wyong Shire Council.  The project won the “People’s Choice 2015 Commercial Award” at the LNA Master Landscapes Annual Awards Night!

Works included bulk excavation and trimming, drainage works and storm water connections, sandstone logs installation, concrete works for both vehicle and pedestrian access, concrete walls and step installation, porous paving, stainless steel beach showers, custom curved wall mounted aluminium and stainless steel bench seat, bollards, planting and turf installation, installation of solar lighting across three separated areas.
