The project formed part of the City of Cockburn’s 2024-25 playground renewal program.

Older equipment has been replaced with new play elements that draw local families to the park, encourage active outdoor play and support social interaction. The design reflects community feedback and the council’s open space strategy for accessible, lively public spaces, creating a neighbourhood park where the community can meet, play and enjoy time together.
