PLAYGROUNDS AND LEISURE

Teamturf had the pleasure of collaborating with Hamilton City Council and Magical Bridge Trust; a charitable trust formed by passionate members of the disability community, to create New Zealand’s first fully accessible playground. 

With the playground design theme inspired by the Kahikatea Forest, a colour palette with a serene feel would be the most ideal fit. This also helps those with low vision abilities and reduces stimulation for the neurodiverse. Teamturf installed a combination of Summer Cool and Coolplay turf in various colours to complement the calming colour scheme. 

Like the name suggests, this inclusive and fun play space will be truly “magical” for all ages and abilities for years to come.
