Phase3 was founded in July 2007 by co-directors Matt Huxtable and Ryan Healy. Both Matt and Ryan are qualified landscape architects and co-directors of multi-award winning practice Newforms Landscape Architecture, which has been operating since 2000. Phase3's close affiliation with design provides an effective solution to clients needs, demonstrating its commitment and understanding in delivering landscape architectural projects as intended.

Since conception, Phase3 has been a multi-award winner in the 2008, 2010 and 2011 Landscape Industries Association of Western Australia Awards. In 2011, the company received a major category award at the Australian Landscape Industries Association national awards in Sydney.

The Newforms-Phase3 collaboration has seen the companies grow to be one of the most respected landscape providers to the commercial, civic and high-end residential market.
