Neutral home exteriors are key for design flexibility

Homebuilders and renovators seeking a contemporary yet affordable home exterior now have more options with the launch of
the Boral Hinterlands1 range of bricks.

A selection of four staple colours, Boral Hinterlands can create a classic exterior for home builders, renovators or investors. “The introduction of the Hinterlands range reflects Australians’ love of natural, sturdy building materials for their homes,” said David Bird, general manager of Boral Bricks East. “The range is ideal for creating a neutral exterior that can act as a base for changing indoor and outdoor design trends.”

The bricks are colour-through, which means the face colour is carried through the whole brick. This helps to ensure the bricks retain their look for the life of the home. Each brick has a rough Velour finish with a square edge and monochromatic colour.

“Bricks are a strong, safe, durable and low-maintenance solution, which is important when considering the whole-of-life cost of a home. Hinterlands are ideal for the harshest Australian weather conditions, including coastal properties,” said David.

The new Boral Hinterlands range of bricks includes Emerald (grey), Mitchell (chocolate brown), Roma (dark beige) and St George (red).
