Entanglements’ range of outdoor screens are durable, stylish and can be designed to fit any specification, large or small.
The team recently designed and supplied a decorative screen for a project in St Kilda East. The location was a large top floor balcony for relaxing and entertaining, where the client wished for privacy without compromising the incredible view and for an atypical statement piece for the outdoor space. 
Entanglements utilised their standard ‘Growth Rings’ screen and transformed it into a custom triptych with a unique pattern that allowed for the afternoon sunset to shine through. The screen had to fit seamlessly into the space without being obstructed by the planters that were planned to be placed in front. The screens were crafted from 3mm steel with a natural rust finish. 
The screens had to be designed to be freestanding, so Entanglements created custom baseplates and utilised cypress posts to keep them up, which also brought in some warmth and tied back into the design. As the feature has to be transported up to the 3rd floor via the stairwell by hand, the screens were designed in sections that could be easily maneuvered and locked together seamlessly. 
The space was completed with Entanglements’ small wood store firepit, which houses the timber for the outdoor firepit. The storage includes a lid that can be doubled as a coffee table when not in use.
