Glenelg Golf Club

Shadeform recently installed a stunning quadruple conic membrane to the first floor balcony of the Glenelg Golf Club. An unusual shape, the balcony required the addition of structural steel to the existing pergola frame in order to support the new waterproof PVC membrane. This stunning quadruple cone membrane provides functional weatherproof protection, while also being a great architectural element of the club. The newly covered area is now used to host weddings throughout the year, greatly increasing the Club’s revenue stream.

RETRACTABLE FABRIC ROOFS
In recent years there has been a surge in hotel upgrades and refurbishments, with provisions for customer comfort dictating the highest specifications for creating truly memorable outdoor space. Throughout this process, Shadeform has seen increasing demand for waterproof retractable roof systems.

Gepps Cross Ale House

Originally from Europe, a retractable fabric roof provides the ultimate in fully-waterproof protection for outdoor spaces, with integrated lighting, gutters and downpipes completing this sophisticated weatherproof solution.

As part of a comprehensive upgrade and renovation, Shadeform installed a huge retractable roof system at the Gepps Cross Ale House in Blair Athol. Patrons can now enjoy outdoor dining rain or shine in this well-used beer garden.

FLEXSHADE WATERPROOF UMBRELLAS
Waterproof PVC umbrellas continue to be popular with hotels, cafes and restaurants, where structural umbrellas can greatly enhance a visitor’s experience when eating or drinking outside.  Excellent UV and weatherproof protection enable outdoor spaces to be used year round, and the addition of heaters, lighting and drop down blinds provide a truly comprehensive solution for alfresco areas.

Ramsgate Hotel, Henley Beach

Shadeform recently installed a series of Flexshade twin cone beam-edged umbrellas at the Ramsgate Hotel in Henley Beach. These umbrellas are designed to withstand wind speeds up to 160km/hr, making them ideal for coastal areas and harsher winter conditions.

SHADERUNNER^® RETRACTABLE SAIL SYSTEM
Retractable shade is becoming more and more popular for commercial premises, where outdoor dining areas may not need full shade throughout the year. The hugely popular Shaderunner^® retractable sail system provides the ultimate in economical and visually appealing retractable shade, providing patrons with shade and UV protection on demand. When shade is not required, the system is simply retracted back.

2KW, Adelaide

The Shaderunner^® is manufactured from a range of fabrics, including Outlook Polyester Mesh, which provides up to 95% blockout. A choice that worked out well for these Shaderunner® systems installed at the 2KW Bar in Adelaide and the Wirra Wirra Winery in McLaren Vale. The Shaderunner^® can also be manufactured from a Waterproof PVC fabric to provide year round weatherproof protection.
