2011 marks Andreasens Green Wholesale Nurseries 30th year in business. The well-known plant suppliers recently celebrated their milestone, with their customers and colleagues from across the landscape and nursery industries.
The event was well attended by industry members, past and present and culminated in a presentation paying tribute to the people behind the business. Aptly named, 30 years of Greenlife, the presentation, delivered by Don Burke, provided an insight into the Green Team’s highlights over 30 years of trading. While the presentation provided a history lesson for some, others reminisced with their counterparts.
The formalities concluded with a surprise presentation by Landscape NSW and ACT President Robert Stanton, to the company’s founder Maurice Green. Robert Stanton acknowledged Andreasens Green for its loyal, long-term involvement with the industry association, before awarding Maurice Green Life Membership to the LNA. Maurice kindly accepted this award which had been bestowed upon only two others, Don Burke and Stuart Pittendrigh. Don and Stuart were on hand to welcome him into this elite group.
