Requiring a design sleek enough to minimise the disruption of flow in the walkway, but one that is also functional and versatile, this stage of work included the supply of both straight and curved benches. Fitted with a combination of hardwood and aluminium battens mounted to precast concrete plinths on site, the rolled aluminium battens were finished with a wood-grain texture to compliment the Jarrah hardwood used on the shorter straight seats without compromising durability.  The seats are fitted with lights on the underside, providing a minimalist solution to the darkness of night. Designed to meet DDA standards, the benches feature integrated armrests and ergonomically considered proportions allowing access for a wide range of users.
