Envirodomes, known for their versatile precast modules and innovative vault construction system, has another multi-use structure for the market. The Bush Cabin is a multi-use modular structure that could be utilised for a range of public amenities facilities, and/ or for commercial holiday rental sites.
Providing a turnkey service, Envirodomes can design and install your very own bush cabin in a series of sizes, layouts and with a variety of materials and facilities within. Alternatively, the kits can be delivered Australia-wide and assembled in DIY fashion.
The Bush Cabin is constructed with the use of two pre-cast concrete modules, which are placed directly on a level earth pad and spaced up to 8m apart. Steel beams span between the modules and support the in-fill floor.
The structure at this point is a combined weight of 28 tonnes. Additional fixtures can then be included. Some of the features of the Bush Cabins that are available for installation include:
- Roof purlins, fascia, outriggers and roof cladding
- Metal stud framed walls, with or without external lining
- Windows and doors
- Joinery – bunk beds, kitchen, vanity and benches
- Electrical and plumbing rough in
- Electrical and plumbing fitout including; lights, split system, pan etc.
- Standard floor finish is smooth steel trowel finish
The modular and pre-cast elements of the structure mean that a complete bush cabin can be assembled in as little as one-two days by the Envirodomes team. Envirodomes also provide an earth preparation service for the site, so you can be assured that the structure will be put together correctly from the ground up.
Once in place, the structure is resistant to fire, cyclones and vandalism. In addition, the modules are completely relocatable, making them an excellent option for remote amenities, campsites and/or temporary sites.
