GLADSTONE EAST SHORES

Penfold Projects provided landscaping services to the extension project of beautiful Gladstone East Shores waterfront boardwalk, helping to create a vibrant recreational precinct along Flinders Parade, QLD.
Gladstone East Shores is a world-class recreational precinct that acts as a hub for the local community to gather and enjoy the foreshore area.
The Gladstone East Shores waterfront boardwalk features green park spaces, open spaces for recreation and play, an outdoor cinema, public barbecues, playspaces and more.
As part of the project, the existing parkland was extended. For the hardscaping components, Penfold Projects provided the supply and installation of turf, plants and ex-ground trees. The softscaping components included the installation of softfall, coloured concrete edging, roads and path markings.
The team at Penfold Projects ensured close collaboration and communication with Gladstone Ports Corporation to ensure the project proceeded smoothly.
The team primarily sourced local suppliers and labour to assist with field works in order to help generate jobs and contribute to the local economy.
The project posed a challenging timeframe over 90 percent of works were completed in only 10 weeks. Thanks to meticulous organisation skills from the crew, site stock limitations and the tight timeframe were easily managed and the project was completed to great success.
The Gladstone East Shores Precinct provide another opportunity for Penfold Projects to showcase it skill and experience in a remote location.
