Fire Retardant
Ricky Richards Bochini material is fire retardant in accordance with Australian Standards 1530.2-1999 & 1530.3-1999, this certification investigates the way in Bochini ignites and, if ignited, how it contributes to smoke and heat release, along with how quickly the material can self-extinguish. Having gone through this testing process, and achieving these standards Bochini, makes a safe and strong addition to both commercial and residential buildings.
UV Resistance
Bochini’s PVDF coating delivers an environmentally friendly way to resist heat absorption from the sun. PVDF coatings are extremely UV resistant, meaning the textile can withstand extended exposure to sunlight.
Water and Mildew Resistance
The PVDF lacquer used is a resin-based coating that not only assists in the diversion of UV Rays, but also delivers a barrier that prevents water and mildew damage, a necessity for shade materials to withstand the volatile Australian climate. This coating also maintains the aesthetics of the material preventing fading and weathering ultimately leading to an increased lifespan of the product.
Colour Availabilities
Bochini is available in an extensive 11 colour ways, four of which have been inspired by colorbond®. Bochini is also available in block out white and champagne.
