Triptyque Architecture has designed a rainforest-themed building in the heart of Paris with the aim to promote nature and health, Villa M stands strong as a hub for both commercial businesses and residences to live a sustainable and organic lifestyle.
Located in Boulevard Pasteur in Montparnasse, Villa M is designed on a mission to bring nature back to the city. Formed by metal structural beams, the building is coated in vertical gardens and is home to numerous medicinal herbal plants, fruit trees and large perennial plants.
The abundance of plant life acts as natural insulator to reduce heating and cooling needs to a more sustainable option. As well avoiding energy and carbon waste, Villa M is a low-tech option that is founded on sustainable alternatives.
Villa M houses a range of businesses all specifically chosen along the theme of saving lives and improving health. Villa M also includes a hotel, restaurant, bar, conference area and many activity hubs such as a boxing and fitness club and yoga studio.
Villa M is made from durable materials with an organic colour palette. Mirrors and eco-friendly products have been installed to create a peaceful environment for business-goers and residents. Villa M is a hub for nature, health and peace. Created through the raw materials and constant sprawling green life, Paris is lucky to hold such a wonderful state-of-the-art sustainable structure.
Not to be forgotten, Villa M includes a rooftop terrace with extraordinary views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Featuring numerous seating areas amongst fruit trees and plant life, one can only wish to sit down, take a breath and enjoy the atmosphere that Paris has to bring.
