The brand new Moduplay SkyTower installed at Stuart Park has made this playground the place to be for children and families from all over the Illawarra and beyond. At an impressive 8.6m in height, the SkyTower promises a lot and delivers even more!
With the promise of adventure written into its very structure, the sheer climb to the SkyTower’s pinnacle is an attractive challenge to children of all ages; a climb that is rewarded with a speedy slide through one of two giant curving tubes that safely propels them back to Earth. A heady thrill worth repeating time and time again!
The SkyTower is just one element of the massive regional play area completed by Moduplay for Wollongong City Council. Moduplay’s own team accomplished the entire construction of the landmark project, employing a number of features that make this park ‘out of this world’.
In a nod to the early migrant history of the Illawara region, the Stuart Park project includes a replica Nissen Hut. Also included in the play space is a Double Skyrider - which is guaranteed to make you feel like you’re flying as you speed down its 28m length - along with multiple swing sets and the innovative Spinpoint Spinners. And, for the littlest Adventurers, a range of smaller play structures that allow even the youngest to be a part of the fun.
To complete this stellar play space, a series of 4m2 Tilba Shelters was erected by Precinct Street & Park. Part of the Moduplay group, Precinct is a 100% Australian owned manufacturer and builder of recreation environments.
