Something Old Now Something New

With old-fashioned ‘rustic-look' cladding rising in popularity, Gosford Quarries has also risen to meet the demand with the development of a brand-new product range, Gosford Quarries Olde English Cladding, which not only looks spectacular but is cheaper than you might think. Take a look.

Something Old Now Something New

Established in 1922, Gosford Quarries (GQ) has been the name synonymous with sandstone in Australia for nearly one hundred years, and is widely recognised for its expertise in the quarrying and processing of natural Australian sandstone.

Something Old Now Something New

GQ’s latest product, Olde English Cladding, has been developed as a response to the market demand for rustic cladding that gives the look of old-fashioned, heritage structures but with all the benefits of new, high-quality sandstone.

Something Old Now Something New

Cut from rustic tumbled sandstone, the cladding ranges between 50mm-80mm thickness. Wraparound corner pieces (‘L’ shape Quoins) have been developed as part of the range to give a solid wall appearance, finish off the corners and complete the appearance of your project.

Something Old Now Something New

The curved appearance of this new cladding is ideal for creating rustic retaining walls, beautifying the façade of a country cottage or adding a warm natural feel to a fireplace, feature wall or pool area.
