Sustainable solutions

Reed Exhibitions Australia is proud to announce their inaugural Australian Sustainability Conference & Exhibition (ASCE) to be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre from 8th to 9th November 2012.

The first of its kind, ASCE will host an innovative, diverse program aimed at Australian businesses to deliver cost-effective, solutions-driven sustainability innovations.

ASCE will have two conference streams - one will cover the sectors of building and construction, waste and recycling, energy and technology, business strategy, transport and logistics, and water management.

The second stream is dedicated to C-level executives with specific panel sessions for CIOs, CFOs, CMOs, CEOs, procurement and government executives.

“We believe that ASCE has a lot of offer to businesses within these sectors and industries,” said David McCarthy, Exhibition & Conference Manager from Reed Exhibitions Australia.

“We know that Australian businesses are wanting unique opportunities and events to share their sustainability efforts or to learn from others who have adapted sustainability into their business and done it well.”

ASCE is working closely with a high-level Advisory Board with representatives from Climate Friendly, FSC Australia, Republic of Everyone, Sustainable Business Australia and Zero Waste Australia.

“One of the aims of the ASCE Advisory Board is to work closely with some of our leaders within sustainability and ensure our offering provides the best practice ethical, cost-effective and sustainable initiatives possible.”

“We are excited to be working with such respected figures in the sustainability arena and know the calibre of the Advisory Board will be a unique aspect of ASCE.”

The exhibition expects to showcase a diverse range of organisations, products and enterprises over the two days.
