The annual Think Brick Awards continue to evolve with concrete masonry included in the landscape award category for the first time this year. 

In line with the Think Brick Awards’ association with the Concrete Masonry Association of Australia (CMAA) the award category has been broadened.

“The 2012 Landscape and Outdoor finalists saw an ecliptic range of entries and we look forward to this category expanding in entries and diversity this year,” Think Brick Australia CEO Elizabeth McIntyre said.

Concrete is a low maintenance product that’s durable, sustainable and affordable. Nominated projects must have been completed since January 2011, be located within Australia and include clay brick, concrete pavers and masonry used in landscape or outdoor urban design.

The landscape category includes non-building projects that have enhanced the quality of the built environment or public domain incorporating clay brick or pavers.

The winner will receive $5000 as well as a trophy and certificate for their project.
