The Australian Horticulturist of the Year 2012 will be presented to the winner at the 52nd Australian Institute of Horticulture Annual Awards and Dinner at Luna Park Melbourne on November 10. The award is sponsored by Fitzpatricks Insurance Brokers.

MC Don Burke OAM FAIH will host the evening and will include winners of the Australian Horticulture Student of the Year (supported by Agrifood Skills Australia) and a surprise inductee into the AIH Hall of Fame with the exclusive AIH Golden Wattle Award. A number of coveted Institute Fellowships will also be given.

Registered Horticulturists who have been approved for their accreditation will also be presented with their RH certificates.

Awards nominations are still open and the invitation is also open to all to come and join the ‘carnival’ theme of the evening.
