Hauraki District Council, in New Zealand, recently fitted ten new beach access signs at Whiritoa Beach just south of Whangamata and according to council staff, installation was a breeze.
Routed lettering on the 100 mm recycled-plastic bollard points the way to the beach and the sign is completed with a plaque bearing the council's logo. The bright blue post fits perfectly into the coastal vista and will not rot or crack in the sun and sea air.
