When Safety Meets Style

St Kilda’s Foreshore Promenade plays a significant role in the City of Port Phillips' identity, frequented by tourists and locals alike.

A multimillion dollar two-stage upgrade of the location began in 2016, with Furphy Foundry playing a significant role in stage one.

The promenade allows people to stroll, jog or cycle beside Pier Road. To increase pedestrian safety, Furphy provided the council 25 custom-made bollards which were installed beside Pier Road.

Each custom-made bollard was manufactured from high strength, high-dip galvanised steel, finished with two-pack paint and a white stripe to increase visibility.
