Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct

At the Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct, the existing artificial turf was very old, damaged and failing. There had been a significant disruption to surrounding areas from wash-off of damaged fibers, rubber infill and plastic, with the existing timber retaining wall having failed. Ecovia Turf were engaged to transform the beloved community hub into a precinct that would last for years to come.

Scope of Work

  • Remove and dispose of approximately 1,500 square meters of old artificial turf
  • Remove and dispose of failed timber retaining wall
  • Supply and install 100 linear meters of concrete retaining wall with steel posts
  • Complete new base preparation
  • Install 1,500 square meters of new artificial turf
