In the suburb of Highett, Melbourne, there are three notable apartment towers designed with a classic facade and state of the art materials.

So that residents could enjoy an inspiring outdoor experience, part of the design brief was to incorporate large balconies that overlook Sir William Fry Reserve. This meant that surface water along the building line had to be managed carefully without inconveniencing residents during inclement weather.

Designers specified ACO’s BalconyDrain, a stainless steel channel and grate system designed for shallow balcony screeds. For this project, the system was made to connect to the building’s various hidden and exposed downpipes.
