Rain and Soil Moisture Sensing Devices

Leveraging Toro sensing technology used on high-end commercial sites and world-class golf courses around the globe, the Toro Precision™ Soil Sensor reduces water usage by continuously measuring moisture levels in the soil and determining when to allow a controller to water, maximizing the efficiency of the irrigation system. Communication between the sensor probe and receiver is completely wireless, so installation is quick and easy with no digging required.

Rain sensors are designed to suspend irrigation during and after rainfall. Easy to use and install, they are available in wired and wireless versions and will work with virtually all irrigation controllers.

Toro and Irritrol Rainsensors have adjustable shut-off points from 3mm to 25mm of accumulated rainfall and the wireless model offers a 91 meter transmission range, providing a variety of installation options.
