Developed for the City of Casey, the project centres around a custom-designed play space from Activity Playgrounds' Resilience Range, creating a destination that encourages movement, challenge and social interaction for children of varying ages and abilities.
The design draws inspiration from the adjacent football facilities, incorporating colour selections and themed play elements that create a strong connection between the playground and the wider reserve. This relationship helps establish the playspace as an extension of the sporting environment while providing a welcoming destination for families, spectators and local residents.
At the heart of the project is a custom Resilience combination unit featuring multiple climbing pathways, elevated play experiences, interactive activities and dual slides. An attached climbing cube introduces an additional level of challenge, encouraging strength, coordination and confidence-building through play.
Supporting elements including swings, spinners, rockers and balance activities are positioned throughout the playground to create a diverse mix of physical, social and imaginative play opportunities. The arrangement encourages continuous movement between activities and supports a broad range of play styles.
Designed, manufactured and installed in Victoria, the playground is constructed using Australian-made steel and durable HDPE components throughout. The all-steel construction provides exceptional durability, low maintenance requirements and long-term performance, making it ideally suited to a high-use public environment.
