Greenplate Launches Custom Art Wraps for Outdoor BBQ Facilities

Greenplate is proud to introduce its new Art Wrap solution, an innovative way for councils, parks, community organisations and developers to transform outdoor barbecue facilities into vibrant, engaging public assets.

Greenplate Launches Custom Art Wraps for Outdoor BBQ Facilities

Designed specifically for Greenplate’s range of outdoor barbecue cabinets, the Art Wrap combines creativity with durability, allowing communities to showcase local identity, culture and branding while maintaining the proven performance of Greenplate’s patented Inbench Electric Barbecues.

Manufactured using premium vehicle-grade wrap film with a UV performance guarantee, Greenplate Art Wraps are engineered to withstand Australia’s harsh outdoor conditions. The result is a long-lasting finish that delivers visual impact while preserving the functionality and appearance of barbecue infrastructure.

One of the key benefits of the Art Wrap program is its design flexibility. Custom artwork can be incorporated into almost any theme, making it ideal for Indigenous artwork, council branding, community fundraising initiatives, sporting clubs, tourism campaigns and place-making projects. The wraps provide a cost-effective alternative to custom fabrication, enabling organisations to personalise their facilities without the expense of specialised cabinet manufacturing.

To ensure the highest quality finish, all artwork is supplied as Adobe Illustrator vector files. This allows graphics to be reproduced with exceptional clarity and precision, regardless of scale.

For locations exposed to challenging environmental conditions, Greenplate also offers an optional clear protective overlay wrap. This additional layer helps reduce tea staining and provides extra protection against corrosion on stainless steel surfaces, extending the life and appearance of the installation.

Importantly, Art Wraps can be removed or replaced onsite, giving councils and asset managers the flexibility to refresh branding, update artwork or support new community initiatives without replacing the underlying barbecue infrastructure. This makes the solution particularly attractive for public spaces where messaging and branding may evolve over time.

To maximise longevity, Greenplate recommends that door sections are not wrapped due to the frequent opening and closing that occurs during routine operation and maintenance.

The launch of Greenplate Art Wraps represents a new opportunity for landscape architects, urban designers and local governments to create more engaging outdoor environments while retaining the reliability and sustainability benefits of Greenplate’s industry-leading barbecue technology.
