Capital Country Pools won the Pool Builder of the Year at the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of NSW (SPASA NSW) annual gala Awards 2011.
The cream of the cream of the Pool and Spa Industry from NSW and the ACT came together to celebrate the industry’s night of nights at Curzon Hall on Saturday 18 June. Exceptional achievements in creativity, innovation and design excellence were recognised and rewarded. Jason Hodges, the resident gardener of Better Homes and Gardens was the Master Of Ceremonies for the Evening.
According to SPASA NSW CEO Spiros Dassakis, the annual celebration of excellence was the culmination of months of tireless work by SPASA members who constantly strive to set new pool and spa industry benchmarks. “At the annual Pool & Spa Awards, the ingenuity, creativity and true innovation from our aspiring members takes centre stage,” Spiros explained.
Celebrating their 24th year, the SPASA NSW Awards are judged by an independent panel. The awards are designed to promote achievement in design, construction, innovation, and sustainability across all sectors of the industry; and encourage a high degree of competency and professionalism by members. Judging criteria for pools and spas includes design innovation, degree of difficulty, artistic design, and quality of workmanship.
Spiros congratulated all the finalists on their achievements, “The accomplishments of our finalists encapsulate Australian, and indeed, international pool building of the highest calibre.”
