Since June this year, Wyndham’s sports fans and residents alike have been enjoying their recently upgraded sports reserves.

Wyndham City awarded the $3.1 million contract for works on Hogans Road Reserve to 2Construct, which included the reconstruction and upgrade of the existing oval, fencing and drainage works and the construction of synthetic and turf practice wickets.

Situated in Tarnet, the civil works included full drainage of the oval and surrounds, extensive irrigation, fencing to the boundaries, barrier netting, lighting works to both the oval and surrounding areas and the construction of world class cricket turf wickets and turf practice nets.

Surrounding the oval was the incorporation of fully landscaped areas with a new state of the art playground, tennis courts, sporting pavilion, car park, creek trail and heritage precinct and picnic, shelters and playground facilities.
